Indoor & Outdoor Champion
Tiffany Brodie has excelled in Indoor Bias Bowls, winning a range of titles; including the 2011 Victorian Under 18's Junior Girls title, the 2012 Victoria's under 18's Junior Girls title; the 2013 Victorian Under 18's Junior Girls title, as well as the Under 18's Girls National Singles title representing Victoria at the Indoor Bias Bowls Australian Nationals in Toowoomba, Qld.
In 2014, Tiffany continued her reign in Indoor Bowls by winning the Victorian Under 18's Junior Girls title in Indoor Bias Bowls for the fourth time. She also won the Under 18's Girls Singles title representing Victoria at the Indoor Bias Bowls Australian Nationals in Mt. Gambia, SA.
Tiffany joined Keysborough Bowls Club in 2013, and immediately made her mark by contesting, and winning, the club's 2 Bowl Singles, Minor Singles, Ladies Pairs, and Ladies Triples. (Lawn Bowls)
She was selected into the Victorian Under 18 Gold Squad. (Lawn Bowls)
Tiffany was also selected and played for Victoria at the Australian National Championships in Darwin, September, 2014. Here, she played Lead in the Girls Fours, and won Gold, She also played Lead in the Girls Pairs, and won Bronze. (Lawn Bowls) To Read more, click here.
She played in the Victorian Open 2014 (Lawn Bowls) and won her section in Ladies Singles and Mixed Pairs.
She was selected and played for Victoria against Tasmania and was part of the winning Under 18's Girls team. Play included Singles, Pairs, Triples, and Fours. (Lawn Bowls)
Meanwhile. closer to home,Tiffany competed and won the Sandbelt Region Novice Ladies Singles, and won the Sandbelt Region Under 25s Ladies Singles. (Lawn Bowls)
And more recently, Tiffany took out the Keysborough Bowls Club Ladies Singles 2014 Championship in Lawn Bowls, and, amongst other things, won the Sandbelt Mixed Pairs with Curtis Hanley.
On Wednesday night, 11th February 2015, at Melbourne Bowls Club, in a closely contested match, Tiffany won the Champion of Champions for the Sandbelt Region. Tiffany could well be the youngest competitor to have won this event. The Club hopes that this achievement inspires other young people to take up this great sport.
At the time of writing, Tiffany is playing Third in the Top Side, in Division 1 - Saturday Pennant.
During April. 2015, the State Championships were held in Bendigo. Tiffany had qualified to enter the State Championships in both the Under 25 Singles Novice, and the Victorian Singles State Championship, she won both games. She also qualified for the State Champion of Champions, but sadly was knocked out in the quarter final. An amazing effort for such a talented young bowler.
Keysborough Bowls Club considers it a privilege to have a young bowler of such calibre amongst its members. We enthusiastically support, and encourage Tiffany now, and in any future endeavours she has.
Following 2 years at Keysborough, Tiffany moved on to Fitzroy Bowls Club to further her development. And following too many achievements to list here, she won the Australian Open Under 18 early 2016, and also won the Australian Open Fours, together with Chloe Stewart, Bendigo's Amelia Bruggy and Queenslander Georgia White.
Tiffany, 17, teamed with current Victorian women's singles champion Chloe Stewart (now Broadbeach, Qld), Bendigo's Amelia Bruggy and Queenslander Georgia White to win the Women's Fours Title.
They beat a four skipped by ex-Victorian Sam Shannahan (Merrylands, NSW), and featuring Victorians Kylie Whitehead (Wodonga) and Tayla Spence (Bundoora RSL), plus West Australian Kristina Krstic 16-13 in the decider.
Keysborough Bowls Club is proud to have had Tiffany as a member of this club in her formative years, and we appreciate the work done by her current club Fitzroy. Most members here never doubted that Tiffany would go far, and we're following her success with great interest and admiration. Good on you, Tiff! We will always be your biggest fan club!
